CoilOvers - best brand?
Hi Everyone,
I am currently looking into getting a set of Coilovers but can not decide which brand to go for. There are a set on Ebay from Belgium for £200 which seems reasonable but I dont have any guarntee's on quality.
Could anybody help me out in terms of which are the best value for money etc. I would like to have a high quality set that are going to last.
Cheers

Cheers fella's.
I just wanted to get an idea because there are so many to choose from. I am not looking for the best on the market, just a good brand for a good price. How much would you expect a garage to charge for fitment?
I would attempt it myself but I could really do without the hassel, least if I get it done at a respectable garage it will be done right.

Eibach stuff is very good too, partly because their stuff is made by KW.
So Eibach or KW is the best stuff you can get, but expect to pay a lot if you want the best stuff
puh, I ordered those D2 but the shipping appeared 2 months and i canceled it. Now i am glad i canceled it
So ive choosed Witec Hicom TX which is the same as KW variant 2, just its not made with stainless steel as KW.
i am not sure if its true ?

KW and Weitec are not the same. Had both, KW is more comfy

Re: CoilOvers - best brand?
im in the same predicament...
My mate at work got a pair of hot tuning budget coilovers for £200 and he said they do not perform that well. The ride is very stiff and bumpy at the same time - he wishes he had purchased some more exspensive ones. But again, you get what you pay for.
I'm considering KW Variant 2's, but i dont even know if im going to benefit from the performance ? I live in the sticks and my road driving mainly consists of twisty country roads and small towns... So i will definately need something with adjustable damper!
has anyone purchased coilies for around the £600 mark ?
