FK konigsport silverline x questions?

Post by oliverpologti »

i got a set of the konigsport coilies last night and just wonderint why there is like 2 spare springs in the box?

because the rear set up is built up with its adjusters

and the front units are also made up with the main spring and the helper spring

so just wondering what the extra 2 springs are for ?

cheers

bloody camera wont work

to me it it looks exactly like the main spring on the front assembly but has a different code on it the ones on the prebuilt units reads

fk 1467

and the spare spring reads

fk 1468 90 kp

cheers

this is doing my head in why do they not just put some nice instructions in or at least a list of what is supplied

Have a look on the net, see if you can find a kit that looks the same as yours so we can see what your referring to.

this is the link to fk's website to my kit and what a link it is

http://www.fk-automotive.de/websale7/FK ... f%2fmd5%7d

you see how the main strut has the main spring at the top then the helper spring at the bottom

the spare springs are the same as the top main spring but with a different code on it

lol do you like all my technical terms lol

I'm not sure were on about the same ones. Look at that picture you just sent me. The rear struts are the silver ones, and the fronts are the yellow. we on the same page?

problem solved tim cheers

managed to get through to venom about this little prob and it turns out that the coilovers i got were for one of the employees that never used them as he was going to do a 9n polo with a r32 engine so the extra springs are for the extra weight of what his engine would have been lol

long and complicated i have had coilie before and just had what is necessary no extra bits that is what was confusing me

cheers anyways mate
