taken the rear vw badge of the gti anyone got any good ideas on what i should stick it back with that is strong like the stuff it originally came on with as i got some double sided foam tape from B&Q

says high strength on the packet but im not so sure dont want to go on the motorway with it on the car and when i come off i see no badge any more lol :lol:

My number plates stuck on with something similar..And its still pretty stiff after a year!! lol

remember my rear badge will be held on by small parts of the tape as its not as big as your plate just dont want it falling off after i paid money 2 get it painted gloss black thats all lol

no more nails, the red double sided stuff, its clear, but has red stripping over the tape (that is removed)

it holds up to 50kg and is a great fix, my plates and rear badge is stuck on with the stuff, available at tescos, 4 quid

Stole this stuff from my work, couple of wee spots round the badge and it'll be fine! Very good stuff, but only use small amounts or you'll never get it off again!!

thanks for the help guys hopefully the badges will b back to me 2mre so will pick some stuff up then. kenny did you put that glue on ur boot lol if so would that not damaged the paint work :lol:
