Plans for 2009

Post by charlievwp »

What's everyone's plans for their Polo during 2009?

I'm planning to but new bluetooth dvd car stereo soon and get the coilies I seem to have been saving for for ages.
Other plan is to fit the fogs and seek out some wiring to get em working. (if anyone knows where I might get this please?)

In the meantime, my boyfriend couldn't be bothered to try and hide my christmas present so gave it to me last night instead!

im gonna behave once the interior is back in for a while i think, till about january

for me, 2009 will most likely bring a full service in january, im thinking of re furb the gti wheels and probably more leathering work at premier, top of the dash etc oh, and 256 mm rear vented brakes

im making mine more subtle again bit by bit, ill be changing the black badge for the silver one again, re fitting the stock wheels and have sold the chrome boot strip, looking for a stealthy OEM + Look

lights are good charlie, will look nice on yours :D

Thanks Jeff. :D
Not much planned then LOL!
Wish I could get more done to mine but just can't fund it much for now.

Looks like you all have lots of ideas to start off the new year.

I've just been given a freebie from Vindis Audi.
My mate works there and one of their valeting kits had leaked some shampoo so they were gonna chuck it out.
It's got lots in there - all Scotts stuff in a black bag. Just needs wiping over.
Glass cleaner, Cockpit spray, Upholtery cleaner, Leather cleaner, Wheel cleaner, Paint polish + protector, Tyre wall gloss along with sponges, chamois, stockinette, wheel brush and bug shifter.
Has anyone used this Scotts stuff before? Any good?

Thought you may say that!
Will be in touch at some time in the new year.... Got to work out what sort of dates i'm up in your direction and hopefully something can be arranged.

Yeah, and other plans and coming along nicely. I'm itching to get the brakes and IC sorted though.
It's just a waiting game at the min for the fitting dates!

Also (from inspiration got from reading someones post KC i think??) got some puddle lights to fit when i find the paitience, so can do away with the little red reflectors in the door cards.
