Rear ARB

Post by gti-joe »

Anyone fitted a rear ARB to there GTI ? Noticed Awesome do a Whiteline ARB for the GTI and was wondering if any improvements to handling and cornering were noticeable.

Also noticed they do an uprated APR Engine Mount, anyone fitted one and found any improvement?

i have the jabba rear bar on mine, makes it less likely to understeer, and more likely to snap out and oversteer, all depends on what you prefer really

i would personally always rather oversteer than understeer

as for the engine torque arm bush upgrade, its a hell of a lot more solid, even the softer of the 2 will send the vibrations from the engine in to the cabin instead of keeping them outside, but, on a plus note, helps put the power to the floor initially and removes the sloppyness

again, a personal decision to be made

for now i dont want my as new car rattling like an old one
