As topic title, my brother needs a gearbox for a v-reg mk111 999cc polo.
He has had a good look around the local scrappies and tried sourcing one but all he keeps being told is new boxes are 500+ and recons are 300+
Obviously looking for something a bit less than that as the car itself has done airplane mileage and isnt worth the rubber its sat on
