6n 1999 Sreg 1.4 Cl Clocks (speedo/rev Counter Etc)

Hi

The speedo on my girlfriend's polo has packed up (zeros at random speeds). I've removed them and had a look and its an electrical speedo so I cant see how it can be fixed?

Anyone got any advice or a set of clocks from a car they are breaking? I presume the odometer is built into the clocks so if I changed them the mileage would be out?

It is the type with the rev counter on the left, speedo on the right and fuel/temp in the middle at the top.

check earthing I removed my engine cover and other brackets and forgot to earth one of the cables so my speedo kept zeroing and it was just an earth issue.
