Your engine code should be ASX. Check under the bonnet, perhaps there's a sticker somewhere. On petrol engines, it's stuck to the cam belt cover...

I thought that Excel file looked familiar...

Don't suppose you know what revs an old non turbo diesel was limited at do you?
I've got figures in the manual which give me the (surprisingly high-rev) torque and power figures, power peaks at 4500.... the gears are really high so would it be limited there or off to 4800, 5000?

(just a little XL proj i'm working on myself, dont actually have a diesel
