I dont have the problem with bills i just have a s**t paid job but im also going to start my apprentiship in mechanics so ill be off even worse ill probz need two jobs.

But still all my money will be going into the car like lol.

Its a 1.0L Pretty nippy. 50bhp. ha. My first car. had it a year in April.

I'm still doing my HGV Mehcanics apprentice. But i've got quolifications. I know the feeling of a crap wage. I'm 21, still live at home. My money just seems to dissapear. Phone, Broadband, board, food, Petrol, then the Polo. lol oh and christmas.. new wheels. Tyres.. i have my tax and insurance due in april.

i got my car and scooter to tax mot and insure in febuary lol its going to be tight that month like cause i want to practise in my car unless i dont bother and just learn in the instuctors car.

And ive got the 1.4 8v but its horrible ive had a shot and it crunches into reverse and i dont like it lol.

Thats why i want a new engine, specially the 1.6gti

Think id rather just buy a 6n2 Gti.

do you go stright into reverse? quickly.? its bound to crunch, give it time. Mine dose it on the odd occasion. Only when im rushing it though.

nah i prefer the 6n shape eh and nah its just if it on and i just put it into reverse it does it and also when the clutch is up it like ticks like a tappet is away but when i put the clutch in its fine :S its weird like

Release bearing is knackard, My mate ran his 106 for a year making that awful noise. If i was going to do an engine conversion i go for the 1.8T Audi engine. Proves quite common.

When i was running my 7x15 ATS Cups et28, i was down the full 120 on the front with no problems.. and i was 100 in the rear, but had rubbing issues. They had 195/45 rubber on. Scrubbing can be resolved by rolling arches or running stretch tyres 165/50's Nankangs or Bridgestones.

Now im on the floor! 13's FTW!

WTF im no where near 120mm on the front and im rubbing???
