newbie seeking advice on sat nav multimedia head unit

As the title states i'm on the hunt for a reasonably priced "multimedia head unit inc sat nav/gps" & so far looked at this

Now i want to stick with mainly sony, kenwood, pioneer etc so i thought asking on hear for the best advice & feedback to the best type of multimedia/gps unit so if anyone has any recommendations or links it would be appreciated please

i'm in the exact same boat. after a sat nav but whilst i'm at it get the best i can.
i nearly bought the VW MFD sat nav but loads of people have said it's outdated so i looked about abit.
talked to the guy who's just started up his ICE website (i think he gave some tips on a topic before?? sure he'll come help)

well i haven't looked into much detail but so far i'm liking the look of this one: (can be found cheaper though ~£520)
