central locking

Post by villieb »

afternoon, quick question, my central locking sorta whines open and shuts, whereas on my girlfriends mk6 polo, it "flicks" open and shut (i hope i'm making sense....)

is this normal on the gtis? if so is there anyway to make it flick?

There is adjustment on the pump - you can adjust the run time on the module itself by opening it up and playing with the white twist adjusters :)

Yep, they whine, it's normal.

I'll have to have a fiddle with the run time though, see if that does anything. Does it make a noticable diff Alex?
