eurocarparts do the clutch. ETKA doesnt show a clutch kit - rather, it shows the seperate clutch plates with part numbers. If your wanting these I can provide them.

Sachs are generally the best!

Your engine type will be quoted on the cambelt cover and will start with either ARC or AVY i think? I was told that the only difference between the two is the location of the sensors, Just did my clutch on saturday and used an Luk one, just rang the suplier and gave him my plate number and he sent the kit for £82

Both engines use the same clutch, so it's not an issue.

Get the SACHs clutch kit, best kit, smoothest and cheapest.

Part number - 3000 581 001

give GSF a call, they don't stock it but can get hold of it for you from SACHs direct. It's about £86 delivered.

long time.......lol.

ain't got a clutch yet, with it being crimbo and all, so the cars still being done at work :?
hopefully the gearbox will be back this week/or next week at the latest....... fingers crossed!!

anyway as was said earlier, is there actually no difference between the 2 engine codes clutches?? the sensors in diff places won't affect it at all??
so i could put a clutch they say is for an arc onto an avy engine?? rang gsf, one bloke said they do sachs clutches the other bloke said they don't........... so that was confusing lol

Both engines use the same clutch, so you can't buy a ARC or AVY specific clutch, as they're all the same thing.

GSF don't stock the clutch themselves, but they deal with SACHs so can order it from them directly, that's probably where the confusion is coming from.
