Post by ppuaar_polosport »

hi
i am new to al this i no a little about cars but not a great deal.

i was wondering if the bulbs you can buy to make it look like you have xenons will do any thing to the wiring

i was told by a mate that they can burn all the wiring and to jus go for the H.I.D kit

cheers

You can get bulbs that are a bit brighter and bluer, Halfrauds do aome called laser bulb or something like that. But I would recommend a hid kits from hids4u. Plenty of people on here have them so I am sure someone will post a pic of them up soon.

I bought some "Brilliance Bulbs" from Halfords that have "Xenon Gas Technology" (???)

These are brighter than usual and work.

I got a set of Excellence something or other from halfrauds and took them back the same day, they say up to 90% more light, I put one in my main beam and was no different to the original. So they went straight back :D

Nightbreakers aren't bad for halogens either.

I've used osram night breakers, as mentioned in other posts you won't notice a real difference in town driving where there are street lamps, but they do make a difference on unlit roads. If the bulbs are 55 watt they won't damage the cars wiring if they are replacing the main/dip beam.
