Lowering

Post by jezza »

Hi there. Has anyone got any pics of polos that have been lowered 60mm at the front and 40mm at rear? Would like to see what it looks like as i was thinking of doing that. Also where is a good place to get coilovers from? Cheers!

Yep, for budget coilies they're quality. I use them and recommend.

I'd still like to see some pics with a 60/40 Split for that "Wedge" look.

Was gonna get some Weitec's (not coilovers though) but they dont do a 60/60 kit ? I dont think I have seen a std good quality lowering kit that do a 60/60 either.

cheers,

Scott

That's because a 60/40 kit just doesn't work. If you want the 'wedge look' you need to be looking at coilovers that can take the car right down low, that's when the 'wedge look' starts to work.

60/40 would just look like it's been jacked up at the back or something.

Cant really see it in this pic but went to pool last weekend for a tidyvag meet and this fella had the wedge look by just having a really low profile on the front tires.

And this is the tyre profile
