yes tim is right lol haha so all your gaining really is the diameter of the disc i thought the piston on the g60 brakes was slightly bigger :? oh well they are bought now so will let you know when there all fitted with the good pads an discs with braided and flushed through im just thinkin that it is an upgrade over standard and should feel a bit better and hold up better for a bit track outings

GTI Brakes will always be rubbish no matter what discs and pads you use :( The calipers just dont have the power to be anything better.

to true mate lol they are just crap :( they should have come with 280mm as standard really. a question for you alex or anyone who knows do our standard set of pads fit in the g60 calipers? i cant wait to have big brakes under the 15" wheels they will mint

Ye. GTI pads go in the G60 calipers - thats whats on mine.

sound mate cheers for that what sort of set up do you run ?? with pads an discs braided ? thrilled with reply to the questions on this forum clubpolo with same question before x-mas and no replies for like a month :(

OEM Discs and Pads with original lines and a full perfect bled system :) works nicely!

haha thought at first they looked abit small but very nice mate cant wait now just had the confirmation email this morning sayin 2-4 days so not long !!!! just recieved my hubcentric spacers to so its all good for me fk's to its all comin together now !!!!! again mate big help !

for ultimate cruise points, get them drilled and/or grooved 8)

G60s with decent pads and discs and set up correct will stop you....its all im running to stop my 290ponies!

haha i wouldnt, it all depends really....the brakes on my old GTI were really good
