its perfectly fine to run the discs that way, thats how mine are on my 20v......obviously increases wear on the pads but also better breaking

by a very small amount, there is higher levels of friction as the grooves are pointing the opposite direction

hello again people i have my breaks now :D and it looks like a good set of pagid fast road pads dont know who the disks are made by but there exsacly the same disks as the 2nd pic 3 holes then 2 holes then 3 holes ....anyway the question is i ordered some polo 6n2 goodridge braided lines... they screw in fine to the g60 caliper but there is about a 1 inch long length of metal untill the bolt which means it wont be secured by anything, iv done some searching about and read that gti brake line are slighty diffrent to g60 style ones as they use a different clip ? just wondering if any of you lot have a g60 setup with braided lines what did you use ???? ill put some pics up in a min and you lot see if it looks right ? help appriciated again as its snowing heavily again i cant go outside and have a look else i would of lol :D

so heres my problem then is that the right brake line for a 6n2 style clip(if there is such a thing) lol or have i totally got the wrong ones ? I ask this as the braided lines that came with the setup ( cut off the car) the nut on the brake line sat flush to the body of the caliper an had a thing called a 'crush' washer to seal it...?

cheers guys

Is that a rear hose?

Looks like the kit included hoses to suit the drums.... Drum hoses usually have a flatter end to them as apposed to a pointy male end as per the disk callipers
