Gear knob replacement...

Hi i have a 6n i have managed to split the standard rubbery-foam gear knob. I have taken of the gear gaiter and have found how to take it off(finally!!). Wanted to know if there is a specific fitment for a new one or is it universal?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've just fitted a 6n2 GTI one on my 6n today, its so much better than the original and feels shorter and stubbier. Makes gear changing more easy and smoother, not only that it looks pimp as! Can get you a pic if you want. Generally they are universal however i'm not 100%, i've seen MOMO ones fit and I know the gaitor can be fitted as universal.

Yeh go for it matey a pic would be nice. Ive been driving it with the severed gear knob for couple of weeks now but looks s*** lol. Thanks for your help i shall be searching for my new one now lol!

Here you are, just takent them so the dark has made the quality a bit poor. Hope they help sway your decision

I have just got a nice richbrook one and they fit on perfect my tighting some grub srews with an allen key. It is nice and low and looks great to.

Does the 6n2 gearknob gaiter fit the same way as the 6n?
