oil in the air filter of a 1.0L polo mk4 carb

there is a light film of wat looks like engine oil in the carb and air box of my Gf's 1.0L carb polo mk4
a guy told me it was just the crank breathing
is that true
or is there somthing wrong?

nope its completely fine, the guys right, but i still disconnected the breather and gave it its own filter, so that oil does not get into the tb and muck it up, which can cause problems if it clogs the oxygen tube and vacuum tube.
