Cubby Dash

Post by marc_vaf »

Hi,

I am wondering if any one can help me. Bought a cubby dash for me polo off of ebay and was wondering if anyone has instructions on how to fit it.

I think there was instructions on vagparts but since that company has went down the spout, was wondering if any one had instructions with pics

thanks

Is it the one for the top of the dash with the lid?

its actually really easy just try and grip the inside edge (one nearest you) of the tray and pull towards you and upwards.
Dont be scared to use some force as its quite hard to damage it.

And to fit your new one put the back of it in first (nearest the windscreen) and push down the front till it clips in

I found I had to be a little more careful as the area surrounding it is quite soft so could dent/distort easily.
Maybe just me?! :?

Part numbers:
6Q0 857 465 C (before 11.2007)
6Q0 857 465 D (after 12.2007)

asked a local dealer in Romania for a price, and they said ~£50 (converted from Romanian currency at the current exchange rate)
