Vibra-technics mount!! Pics+Fitting guide!!
Fitted the full new mount today and there was one problem to watch out for the hole in the bush is not big enough for the standard bolt!! The shamfered bolt is too large ! luckily i had a spare one the perfect size in my random bolt drawer LOL!! I have informed them of this fault and they will be in touch! think they will send a modified bolt out with the kit ! Apart from that its an amazing piece of kit well worth the money pics to follow from my crappy phone!! You will see the difference !!! Puts power down sooner and is alot more responsive without much vibration at idle!! LOVE IT ! Saying that my old mount bush was totally goosed!!

Re: Viba-technics mount!! Word of warning!!
How is the vibration level with the AirConditioner on? If you tested it.
I'm asking because I've read some opinions about the engine mount from APR and some people were complaining that there is too much vibration on idle with AC on.

not tried the AC but if you want performance spec and power you need to sacrifice some comfort!! comfort on mine went out a long time ago! The faster you get over the bumps the better LOL
Re: Viba-technics mount!! Pics+Fitting guide!!
Agree with you on that.
I was just curious about how it feels compared to the APR mount, as I've seen comments like this "it feels like a 20 years old bus with AC on" about the apr one... which I think is more a problem than sacrificing comfort...
Anyway, enjoy the new mod along with the other ones

Re: Viba-technics mount!! Pics+Fitting guide!!
Ok so here is the guide remembered kenny asked when i was half way through LOL
First thing is jack the car up and slap on 2 axle stands or use drive on ramps i have some but my cars too low so i went for axle stands!

oh and my grille insert is in now
remove the engine mount and the extra bracket! no need to support the engine or anything as it doesnt hold the engine in!! You will need socket set and spanners 16mm and 17mm!! thats all the tools you need!!

As you can see the new mount is so much better in construction than the standard one and much better than the apr insert!! You can see i have already swapped the extension bracket on to it!! By the way the one on the left is standard mount/leg

on this next image you can see what i was talking about the bottom bolt is the original and too wide on the shampher luckily i found one the perfect length and thread to fit the new mount! the one i found is at the top! they are working on a new bolt or bush!!

then build up all bolts etc loose ! tighten the ones on the box, then the subframe , then the middle one oh and dont forget the washers in the kit for the middle bolt you will see what i mean when you get it!

hope this helps
