Removing Cup Holder Tray

im after talking me cup holder and coin tray apart, so that i can get 2 single cup holders,

did a quick search on here and wasnt able to find anything, just wondering if someone could help me?

i un-screwed the screws from the tray but it wouldnt come out :S:S

There are another two screw holes at the back.

They can be removed without removing much more of the dash, but they are a PITA to get at if you dont take the plastic behind it off.

After that, when its off, you just have to release the clips on the back of the coin tray and you can switch to another cupholder :)

how do you get to the two at the back then?

take the cover under the steering wheel off, and undo the screws that hold on the plastic strip that runs from side to side (two on the right one on the left) then pull it forward and it pops off

You should be able to access the holes then
