just got a 1.6 6n, want to change my grill but dont know to either get a debadged grill or take it out and use mesh.

any ideas???

keep it and spray the vw black looks sweet 8)

I would either get a de-badged one, or spray the VW badge black. Depending on what style you prefer.

Hmm i drove it into my head that my Polo would look gash if i put a de-badged grill on. But!if i had the 8v bumper recess i would have a badgeless grill. It's all good fun.


Everyone i know has a de badge grill so i kept mine and painted it black. You will never get away from the fact eveyone goes doe the same style in any car so i always go against what others have around me. *shrugs*

De-badged or spray black in my opinion. ;)

Three real options:
Debadged slatted grill,
VW grill and spray the badge a colour of your choice lastly,
a mesh grill, such as the kamei grills that are about.
