savages

Post by spawngti »

Got up this morning to discover my (and my neighbours') wipers have been ripped off

So I need new wiper arms. Is VW the only place to get them now that vagparts has gone bye bye? Thinking I want aeros now, so do I need specific arms for this, or just standard ones with aero blades?

For proper OE Aero's, you need the proper arms.

Not sure where else might do them apart from the dealers.

haha :D

Unfortunately so, although Euro can get a serious amount of Gen parts these days - they are only wiper arms, so even a pattern part would work great.

If you want retrofit aeros, then a set of original arms are fine. If your wanting lupo GTI aeros, then you need Lupo GTI arms to go with.

And don't go buying a set of new standard arms! There's loads of 6N2 being broken at present that I'm sure you could get a set from 8)

Hmmm, good idea on the breaker items, cheers. Think it's worth going for the Lupo GTi aeros though rather than retro-fit blades?

Lupo wipers do look awesome. I've heard they're quite a pain to fit, and aren't as good performing as OEMs with retro-fits. Plus the full kit is over £60.
