I havent actually put any pics of my car on here yet, but couldn't resist taking some snaps in the snow we've been having! Probably because the car is low and the stretch on the tyres means less grip, i was sliding all over the place on the road and about half an hour after these pics were taken i tickled a ditch on a backroad... doing 15mph! No damage or anything though, was a very close call! Uni is quite busy at the mo but when i get a chance i will put some proper photos of me motor on?

Haha the tuck has caught my eye, but happy days i got a birthday coming up v. soon which is more then ideal for addressing that! Have been keeping posted on the spacers' thread on here, but am open to suggestions. Ye the rims are lenso's, 15x7's. I wanted the black insert in the wheels in preparation for an idea i have for the roof. The pending birthday will again come in handy!
It's strange that you've got so much, as I thought they only had one offset and have seen much more poke from them before. Do you know the offset of them?
No they have two offsets from rimstyle.com, and speaking to the chap over the phone he suggested they sit under the arches on the mk 4 polo, because on old wheels i was rubbing really bad, which the stretch now helps to avoid. like i said, if i ever wanted to change it, its pretty simple to go wider, which i'm looking at in time for the better weather. Any suggestions yourself tim? Cant remember for the life of me the offset i went for, and i dont think these pictures do it justice really,- its not THAT bad! i sleep well over it at night anyway. The problem i have is that more poke, particularly on the back, means that i WILL rub quite badly, and i've already had to raise my car to -100mm to stop rubbing which annoyed me immensely. There are various options i know, but i am undecided on which is cheapest way to sort it yet effective long term! help!
ello m8 ! .. love the ride! ... just a quick question ? what did u have to do to get the mk5 front on there? was it alot of work or did it slot straight on ?
cheers m8, to be honest i have decided i am gonna put a reel of photos on here, just to get my ride out there abit, but yeah it was pretty easy to do. i took inspiration from ash philpott's polo seen at Players in the summer, and through Redline magazine. He paid alot of money to have his done, but i dont have that to burn so did it myself! With alot of patience it's fairly easy to do, and i think looks the nuts- definately different to textbook 16v bumpers on 8v's we see quite alot.
haha, well as u can imagine, the mk5 front bumper is a rare sight- there arent many of them to the pound- and i would obviously prefer it that way, but i will reveal all when i do my thread with sum nice clear photos on. I did have a whole casebook of photos through the procedure but they were stored on my old laptop, not backed up and it died over xmas, gutted. so yeah, basically, wait for the thread!
