Hi there guys!
My name is Alex and im from Leicester.
New to this Polo forum so be gentill :D

I own a 2008 candy white 1.8t Gti and love it to bits. I had this forum mentioned to me buy another member who was on here....sound guy....at santa pod raceway yesterday (Run what ya brung) so though i would give it a go as these forums can be very helpfull.

Not to insult any of you on your knowledge of wheels and aftermarket car parts....but i work for a company called performance wheels....so if anyone has any queries of wheel fitments then please dont hesitate to get in touch with me and ill do my best to help you out.
See these links for wheels pics and info.
www.keiracing.com
www.tyresure.com <------ For those of you who track your cars.

We also sell lowering springs (cobra) nuts/bolts spacers etc etc....so any general enquiries are always welcome.

Been trying to upload pictures of my ride so i can show you it but having trouble lol  anyone know how to do it.....not great with computers :D

Thanks for your time and hope to speak to you sometime.
Alex.

A up mate!!
Yeah was good to meet you....hopefully there will be some more events like that with us guys so we can battle again  was a good laugh anyways.

HHAHA....bet he was gutted.....well done!!!
Im still not keen on that surface though.......i think the times would of been alot different on a "normal" tarmac strip....not that so called "really grippy" stuff.....what a load of old boll****

I think the one in leicester (gti international) is a better more "road like" surface.

wish id have stayed a bit longer now..... :(

yeah it was a good afternoon once the snow had gone and they dried the track.

I definately wasn`t too sure about the surface of the pod.wheelspin in 3rd just doesn`t happen on normal roads but there was tyre squeal on that surface. never mind and i also get the bragging rights over my uncle in his mk5 gti golf ha ha ha!!!
