number plate light !!

Received my number plate light leds , fit one no probs , but the o/s one was all rusted inside and when i opened it up the bulb holder fell to bits!! so now i only have one light has anyone got a new lamp?? Nothing goes right always a complication LOL gotta say the one that works is sexual !!

not got one but put other one back std and take it to the dealers any tell them No plate light no workie new one

This is really strange you post this as I ordered some LEDs last week and EXACTLY the same thing happened to one of my number plate lights!! ... all the metal contacts in the holder turned to dust.

I had ballache getting it sorted too. I phoned the stealers and explained the issue, and asked them to order new part and i'd come in to get it sorted... I sat on the phone arguing with the dealer as they wanted to see the car first 'As to diagnose the problem, so the correct parts are ordered' ..... which is a joke as its blatently obvieous what needs to be replaced.
In the end they ordered me one over phone to have fitted this week. I went into dealers on lunch to get it sorted (i took the old one in, in a plastic bag) and was told all the tech's were on lunch so couldn't be fitted. I said no worries just swap me the part as its just a simple plug + 2screws, but was told no and had to go in the next day when tech's were about because of warrenty procedure .... F*****g nightmare!!!!, makes my blood boil the stupidity of these places.

Wasn't the left hand side one was it, then would be snap!?

I've got some of these, they look really good.
Only had them in for a few days so don't know how long they will last, all seems ok right now though....

Yeah their exact same as mine pal...However, mine have been in like 3 days and one has blown already...I have just summed up that i have spent nealy £25 on stupid bloody LED number plate bulbs now..They all keep blowing, anybody got any ideas on what to do???

mine was the drivers side one, got my leds from aceparts on ebay used em for years when i did my dash in my old car great stuff they sell!
