calling all 4pot owners!!!!

Hi guys

Im gathering parts for when the BAM engine go's in and i am looking for brembo adaptors to fit the polo.

The brembos are off a BMW but all the calipers are the same its just the mountings that are car specific, is there a company i can buy them from off the shelf or will it be a custom job?

4pot brembos off the Ibiza Cupra R fit straight on (305x28):



be prepared to limit your wheel choice though, you will need at least 16's and i'm pretty sure 38mm of clearance (an ET of 35)..either that or meaty spacers

Just to be clear that i am after the carriers if i need them?

I no that focus rs and fiat coupe 4pots are the same so i am convinced that all brembo 4pots will be the same, afterall whats the point of making thousands of varients why not just one unit?

So if im right in that then am i right in saying that 4pots fit direct onto 6n2 gti??

They do fit the GTi, the hi-sepc pic I posted is from a GTi. The 305 ones James had mentioned also fit.

OEM carriers from the GTi? no no. You'll need the full kit. Check out Shantys link, £745 all in.

you will need a 15mm spacer to fit the hi-specs. The wheels don't fit if not

Screw 745 pound! i already got a great deal on the brakes and calipers and pads. so all i need is the carriers, if needs be i will get them made up custom.


The wheels i am interested in are the Team dynamic 1.2 pro race 16 inch

I think it will be a different look instead of everyone going all euro i will be going motorsport, half cage, light weight race wheels, carbon fibre bits etc etc.
