Thanks mate!

That cover was standard on my polo from new. I wasnt aware that some polos didnt have them?? Thought they were standard??

Nah mate. They ain't standard i don't think. Mine hasn't got one and i've seen others without them. Just covers up the spark plug, injectors and fuel rail. But in my opinion makes it look a bit more tidy :)

Awh well ive learnt something new today then lol . Well it was on the car when it was bought brand new in 2000 mate and it has been in the family since brand new. It was my grandas before it was passed down to me early last year and i cant say he was into his modding lol .

Maybe it could be on 6N's made after a certain year? I know my 1996 doesn't have one, and ive seen loads with out... :roll:

Nope. My neighbour has had her's from new and hers didn't have one. Anyway, I'm going to keep my eye out when i go scrappers :) like i said makes it look a bit more tidy.

looks great! makes you wonder how long it's been since it last looked like that (i.e. in the showrooms!). there's spray stuff called back to black which works wonders for black plastic trim parts. might be able to find it in halfrauds.

Ano seeing it from what it was before to what it is now is great. I have that simoniz back to black for the tyres and stuff. Gonna take the airbox off and give it a good clean and have a go with this stuff! Cheers mate!
