Coilovers
Fitted my coilovers and have come across a problem. The front two are not sitting properly inside the engine bay mounting plates. They are bottoming out. The top plate is already touching the underside rubber mount and wont sit properly. It sits about 10mm above. Has anyone had this problem. If they have what did they do to overcome this problem.

Re: Coilovers
Might have come up with a solution. The old suspension would not of been as stiffer so when i put the new coilovers on, the underside rubber mount would not of been taking as much compression so when the new ones went on they were taking alot more compression therefore causing the coilover top engine mount to stick through, sooo to get rid of the bumping/knocking sound i have put the big dished washer thing upside down on top of the old nut tightened down underneath. This has made things alot smoother but now i need to know something. With bonnet open i turn the steering and i can see the top mounts moving backwards and fourth. I never noticed this before and need to know does this do it on the old suspension when fitted. If someone with standard suspension could go out and see if there top mounts move when turning the steering it would be a great help to me.
And does anyone know if you can get up rated underside rubber mounts?
