HID LIGHTS

Post by DF:FD »

Right 1st off hi guys i havent logged in, in such a long time!! i do check alot though to see all the changes happening but due to the fact im 19 and i havent done anything to my car recently...i dont bother but its come to the time now were i will do something LIGHTS

Now i got the 1.2 s model 06 plate and well the come with the basic lights now i been looking all around for new light faces i wanted to get the black base instead of chrome(i will put up a pic of my car but im at work) the cars black so the lights dont look nice i been looking on several websites and for the faces for example there about £150, my friend bought these from ebay for his ford focus and they do look nice no water leaks nothing what do you guys think

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-POLO-2005-BLAC ... 240%3A1318

Thats them in black just you dont see the detail so here are them in chrome just for looks sake

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-POLO-2005-CHRO ... otohosting

what do you guys think??

Also i went to the car place i always go to they done my sound system and i asked about the actual lights and i asked whats the different with xennons and hids and he said there is a slight difference but with xenons the whole wireing system has to be changed and all that and theres only a slight difference between them and hids

so i askd how much for them and he said for 8000k(is that good i dont know lool i want what you guys got white but with the blue tint) and he said £150 for the lights fitting them all togever with the headlamps im going to buy guys your advice please and explain if its good lights and good deal as i dont know jack lol

Could you guys put up pix you got of your lights please so i get an idea and state wethere there xenon or hid :) Also any1 here in south london like near croydon thats were im based :D

I've got the 6000k ultimate kit from HIDS4U and they are truley awsum. They cost around £200 rips but id say there well worth it. Ive had a couple of kits of the bay in my old C2 and they certainly dont compare to these. Make driving in the dark lots of fun :D Plus the 9n3 apparantly have bulb out warning systems which can set of alarms and warning lights? not completly sure thats true though as i havent come accross this problem myself.
