aaron, personally, i remove it with the aid of meguiars last touch detailing spray applied to a drying towel, but there is no right or wrong way to do it, i just find that doing it this way stops any ghosting occuring

trial and error and personal choice really, try both, and see which you prefer

Lubricant use is just to aid it off if you find it a little tricky. Esp. in the colder months.

So hard to kep the car clean in the winter, u wash it and within days its stinkin again.

When ever ive polished the car, ive clayed it, then used AG stuff to wax and seal, but dont find the finish to last that long atall.

How good is this Collinite 915 stuff and can you use it on any colour car? (as i know you cant with the dojo stuff etc) My car is the Olympic blue and want it with alot more wet look.

As first time maybe tryin this Collinite stuff, should i try the 915 or the 476, and any tips would be awesome..

I'd go with the 476s, it's great on darker coloured cars (mine's black), lasts ages and is a real breeze to use. 3

It's got everything you need for applying. using the pad apply to the whole car, let it sit for 20 mins then buff off with a MF cloth. Or do it panel by panel, depending on your preference (although this process takes longer you've got to wait for it to cure properly!).

Apply some water or quick detailer before wiping off if you find the wax hard to buff off.

If your patient, try and get 2-3 coats of it on the car.

Should I leave an hour between coats of wax? . . .or should I do the car . . .then repeat straight away.

i did as you did tim, do full car then remove it

aaron, leave each coat 24 hours in between to allow it to cure properly

I clean mine no matter what the weather also, if it needs done I do it. Problem is I've just burst a pipe in an attempt to get the outside tap going

I waxed mine this morning. The collinite looks amazing!

The only question I have is that while I was waxing the paintwork looks really brilliant. But when I looked down on the roof from my window above I noticed some streaking. You can't tell from down below as at eye level it looks brilliant. Should I just leave it and does that go away?

i guess you took it off dry then?

taking it off with a damp drying towel first, them a final buff with a microfibre stops the ghosting effect mate

On the subject of cleaning Jeff - what is the best thing to use to clean the Cabriolet's roof...

It has a touch of green on the rear which is quite stuborn to remove.....

try a safe degreaser and apc mix, leave it to soak and aggitate with a brush and pressure wash it off after 15 mins
