Diamond cut alloys

Hey guys,
Bought a new set of alloys today!! They've got a 'diamond cut face' !! Wanted to wax them etc before putting them on the car..does anyone know the best products/treatments for them before fitting??

Cheers mate, will be buying some sealant today ..Bought brand new alloys.. will get some pics up, as soon as they're on the car Do you know if theres any other precautions etc I should know about, like how to clean them? Can I just use that normal alloy wheel cleaner stuff (http://www.carplan.co.uk/index.cfm?category=60) for them or something special to clean them?

I would not use wonder wheels its very nasty. Give them a good clean with car shampoo then dry them off, give them a couple of coats of the poorboys wheel sealant. Then all you should need to do for awhile is just wash them with normal car shampoo while washing the the car. If you find them are getting really dirty try this I use it and cant fault it

you can dilute it up 5:1 so it makes 5 litres, I use this to dilute it in at 4:1 (water:product)

I also add the chemical resistant spray head

Second the poorboy's sealant and billberrry. Make sure you get a good 2-3 coats of the sealant on BEFORE you put them on the car. it's easier to apply, you can get it on the inside also and it will protect them from the weather that way. use the billberry when things have gotten left and you find stubborn dirt on them, for regular washes just use your car shampoo
