I thought you were selling the motor?
Re: Lowering springs 6n2 im after between 30 to 50 mm drop
i cant afford to at the moment mate, ive been looking on prices on how much polos are going for any wouldnt be able to afford another car as it stands. and i'd like to get a bit of use out of it now that ive put the new clutch and brakes etc on.
I'm still selling the motor, but its going to be in july to a friend of mine from college. gives me a bit more time to save up and i'd be 18 and finger crossed with 1 years no claims.
so in the mean time i thought i'd look into lowering the 4 by 4
only after a cheap deal at the moment so seeing whats around!

Cool. been thinking about lowering mine. Cant decide what to do. I know what most would say.
Re: Lowering springs 6n2 im after between 30 to 50 mm drop
i think they would all say coils
there are those hot tuning ones on ebay that apperntly if you put a offer of 150 in they'd accept =]
i would love to be able to drop mine lower than 50 mm but im aiming to keep costs as low as possible so use the standard shocks and i dont think they like it when lower than 50 at the max
by the way, i never had a message back from you after i sent the extra £10 for the k&n. all recieved ok i hope

Thought I did mate. Sorry, yeah. I would never fancy using the standard shocks on lowering springs as I've heard of a lot of problems. And i dont think 30mm is worth all the hassel. Wouldn't mind coils as you can alter the height and easily go back if needed. Will look more into it into the spring. Either that or alloys.
