K04-001 I run at the moment at peak 25psi (1.75bar) dropping to 20-22psi (1.4-1.5 bar).... and boost is still good at the top of the rev range...

But I only did that from after the exhaust went on ... It didnt run good that strong with decat and peeshooter...

I need an intercooler quick .... looooooooool ...

Just put the ATP high flow manifold on today... flows real good... the stock one is shocking..

I hate taking pictures almost as much I hated those manifold bolts....

But believe me the standard manifold came off really easy.. its a thin thing with some really narrow passages.... the ATP unit is much fatter... so fat that getting some of the manifold bolts back on.. almost impossible....

but heh its done now.... but then it started raining.. to spoil my fun on the way home from work ....

hopefully it is dry tomorrow and i have some more fun ...

25 psi a bit to much really .. but it doesnt stay at that for too long .. it all good fun.

First of all I think more-bhp really REALLY needs a FMIC...(I'll be willing to come to Great Britain and weld it for you[If you'll pay ;)])
And second of all I don't see any reason for anyone of us GTI drivers to go for K04 of all kind...
Go straight to the discopotato and upgrade all the things needed...
This little bastard that we drive has the potential, you'll just have to take advantage of it..
Yes I know it's a really big job...
Sorry for the language...Finnish bastard speaking(or giving his thoughts) :D ...
This is the toilet what I run daily...
Sorry for the winter tyres... Parabols are coming on when the eFFin ice melts down, or doeas it ever in here... I'm just waiting for the summer!! Hope you all gyus are! :D Been reading this forum for ages, thank you all for your info..

Whitegtipolo - I have the ATP exhaust manifold.... its so much fatter ... lol

Vilus... I will be ordering the FMIC soon .. from Forge... nearly ordered the other day but there was 2 weeks to wait... i am too impatient for this... so I spent the money on other things...

but I have been monitoring the inlet temps today and they are not going so high .... there arent big enough gaps in the traffic at 1.5 bar.. lol .... no time for baby intercooler to get heatsoaked.....

Money has just been spent again on EBC Red Ceramic Pads for the front and rear brakes.... now I have the drilled/grooved its killing the standard pads...and they are getting way to hot :-(

No point in bigger turbo until dif and clutch done...
