Stage 2... happy days!!!

Post by Alex_White_Gti »

Got stage 2 for my car at the weekend and all i can say is its great!
Pulls very very well now and exceeded my expectations....feels very torky :D
Also had the following fitted at the same time.

EBC Turbo groved and drilled 288mm (front) 235 (rear) disc kit.
Yellow stuff pads all round. This works out a great combo.
Honeycombe grills fitted to the front.
South west boost gauge fitted.
Full Milltek (tried and tested)turbo back system.

Basically im just sharing my happiness with you but i do have a question. As we are the main (only) importers of cobra suspension i recently enquired about the great evo type 3 kit for my (our) cars and unfortunatley this is still under testing. There saying about 4-6 months.... im not sure i can wait that long even though i would get great discount. My question is....what do you guys run on or recommend. Thanks guys.

AS always updated pics and all comments and c.c welcome....also advise on the coilovers.

Cheers.

To Kenny... had the APR flash mate! :D

To Seymore... Sounds a little deeper than standard on idle.... and also when being light footed. But....when you do floor it it sounds great. Loud enough to be noticed but not loud like the chav in his 1.0 corsa with next doors dustbin hanging out the back loud.... if that makes sense.
A very worth while mod for both performance and visual reasons. :)

Makes the front end look too round and the side look unfinished. Each to their own though.

Thanks for the comments guys!

I think they look better colour coded front and sides...but...the back could do with splitting up a bit i think, thats why i have a work contact of mine is working on a carbon fibre diffuser for the rear bumper just to sort of go around the zorst bit if that kinda makes sense.....wont be cheap though im gussing.?

That will split it up a treat then i think.....and i also need to paint that horrible towing hook at the rear in black or something.

I think people have different looks that they prefer for there cars and NONE of them are wrong only personal prefrence.

I have gone for sort of a street racer look with the wheels and the soon to be carbon bits as this is what i like.

Other people do rally slag look :D
street sleeper
euro etc etc there all personal preference that is why we buy these cars in the first place....to modify them to your likes.

Can i get an AMEN!!!!
