2001 vw polo 6n problems
hi all
i will upload pics soon.
my car has just been sprayed up and i have had a new set of alloys on.
i went to start my car and all it does is tick over. i have to have the key turned for at least 30 - 45 seconds before the engine kicks in.
i have had a few garages give me a few different answers. Two of the garages said its the ignition switch??
has this happend to anyone before and does anyone know what will sort the problem out.
Thanksjas2009

I had exact same problem, garage changed nearly whole engine (at my expense) then finally changed the coolant temp sensor. No problem after that. Really hope this helps.

Doubt it mate, try the coolant temp sensor first, not expensive, you can fit yourself. Better than spending a fortune to find out it something cheap.
