Chewy: ET should be 43, and it is lowered. Just check the arch gap in the first pic to the second full on car pic, plus he said he'd fitted his coilies

Looking good mate! I used to have those rims on my Ibiza! Are they 6.5s or 7s?

Re: CB's 9n progress thread.
i think they are the 7s, can't remember lol.
it needs to be alittle bit lower still. theres a bit too much arch gap for me but where i live at the moment my house is surrounded on all sides by speed bumps which i am almost scraping atm.
reckon i need a set of spacers thou, they're a bit tucked in for my liking.
thanks for the comments guys, anymore advice or comments are welcome!
not gonna be much work over the next month. needs the front repaired lol.

Yeah i nice set of spacers on the back would do the trick!
I had 20mm hubcentric H&Rs on the Ibiza and they sat perfectly.

Re: CB's 9n progress thread.
Well I bought mine from Rimstyle Autodesigns but it seems that they concentrate on alloy wheels and tyres only now so I can't give you a direct link
But give AMD Technik a ring on 01708 861827 and speak to Shaun or Patrick and they should be able to help you out!
Make sure you get the Trak+ spacers that bolt to the hub and then you bolt the wheel to the spacers! H&R also do 25mm varients which may be useful if your wheels are the 6.5 versions
Also you may like to try Venon Motorsport (01254 820005) and Awesome GTi (0161 776 0777). They should be able to point you in the right direction if they don't do them!

Re: CB's 9n progress thread.
If your going to do it you need something contrasting, gray will be too dark.

Re: CB's 9n progress thread.
a lighter grey or silver?
Re: CB's 9n progress thread.
Aye that could work but would need the right colour to pull it offcaptainbeyond88 wrote:a lighter grey or silver?

Re: CB's 9n progress thread. *update 21/05/09*
thought it was about time to do an update.
I finally got the car back from the bodyshop the other day and it is looking awesome imo.
Heres whats been done over the last few weeks.
Gloss Pillars

Badgeless grill with notch filled in

Colour coded lower bumpers

Detextured the front and rear bump strips
Colour coded rear badge

Still has a bit to go until the outside is done:
- Detexture and colour code side strips
- Colour code mirrors
- Colour code door handles
I've lowered it again and its all the way down now.
Other things to be done in the next few months:
- Fit shortened drop links (i've had them sitting in the box for the last month and need to get round to fitting them lol)
- Bonnet Bra (i know they are horrible but i'm not getting my paint all chipped after its just been done)
- LEDs
and that should do for the moment before I start saving for the boost.
Will get out for a proper shoot later next week me thinks.
let me know what you think!
thanks
mark
