Roll cage?

Post by turkpolo »

im thinking to put a roll cage at the rear.
The price for the rollcage and labour ??
Where can i get it?
would i have to remove the rear seats?
would it look stupid due to not having a major power in the car ?

waiting for replys

thanks

What are you hoping to achieve from the rollcage?

Are you just doing it for looks?

Unless you are going to be hammering the car around track with some power in the engine bay, a rollcage is pretty much pointless....The standard crash structure in the polo is pretty good!!!

A rollcage will add weight, and weight at the top of the car which is doubly as bad...

IMHO, spend the money on bigger brakes and sticky tyres....

(I would add a rollcage to a car like MY TVR where there is NO roll structure, just a 2mm thick fibreglass shell... I wouldnt add one to a road going car that already has a roll structure)

yh :) could do better things than a rollcage since is useless in a polo thats got heated seats and a massive bass at the back lol it just looks so cool at the bck

Never been a fan of rollcages myself either. Especially showcages. As Dunc said, adds weight is pointless and looks cluttered in the rear.
