Polo AFH Engine Throttle Body Question

I recently bought a 'T' reg 1.4 16v Polo with the AFH engine. It appears the Throttle body (036 133 064E) isn't working and I can't find a replacement used body. The car stalls when cold and doesn't tick over properly. Does anyone know if I can use a different one that is more commonly available? There are plenty on Ebay with the same number but ending in 'D'.
