Creaky seats

Post by Brad. »

The seats in my 6n2 are creaking.
Both the drivers and passenger ones. From the base some where, doing my head in.

Any ideas to stop it? Assume its just something that needs greasing...BUT WHAT?!

Its the tilt mechanism in the seats. Can be fixed with some white/lithium grease on the mechanism

Mine sounded like it kept clicking in and out of place. Found that by tilting the base up, so thats its almost horizontal rather than the back tilting down has hopefully stopped it.

No, still clicks in and out of place.

Gonna tighten and grease every joint I can get to. See if that works
