mk5 Dash and door cards.

Hi guys i have a Polo mk5, and its got a funny interior. Its kinda hard to describe (for me, lol) But its like loads of little dimples. Since ive had the car it been a nightmare to clean these parts.
Everytime i clean it i get streaky marks left on it. I have tried everything from dash wipes to hot soapy water, and i still cant get rid of this.

Has any1 overcome this problem, if so what and how would you recomend i do/use

I use Zymol "Vinyl" on mine... Works a treat

i think you can buy it from halfords. its expensive stuff,but i've heard it works really well (remember josh talking about it at the midlands meet in the cafe at donington )

I don't ever use cleaning products on my dash, if what you're looking for is that matt finsh you get on new cars then i can recommend the following.

I use a swiffer to remove the dust and if there are any stains use a damp rag (not soapy) to wipe over and let it dry. BOSCH job done, and it's only cost you the price of a swiffer.

I found this by mistake really, when shampooing the headlining. I use plenty of warm water and literally a couple of sprays of Autoglym interior shampoo sprayed into the water. This makes a really mild solution that does just enough to clean the dash, it won't make it shiny and crap like a sylicone based solution. Apply that with a clean cloth duster. Shouldn't leave any marks.

Also I recommend this for cleaning the seats and headlining. The advantage is that is any overspills onto your dash/doorcards it simply wipes off with the solution.

i use leather care cream sometimes as it hydrates the material
