Is it honestly worth getting climate over a car with half the miles on it but without climate? Hard decision!

Also, if i can find a GTI next week and pick it up sometime next week also, i'll be up to your More-bhp the week following me collecting it :D

both those mileages are low ... thousands and thousands of miles in either of them....

go with the one you like best .. or just see which you will get the best deal on...

remember times are REALLY HARD for car sales ... push and push for a better deal .....

make sure they know you are serious .... but at the very last minute tell them you want to take a second look at another GTI you saw... it was £ xx's cheaper and had a longer warranty....etc etc ..... but they are closer and you like the car...

tell them you will be looking at it the following morning.... so you have time to think about everything... and WALK away.. hard as it might be..

then see if you get a phone call with a better deal .... if your are looking at dealers/garages then any Sales Exec worth his salt will be trying to push for a better deal for you ... remember he gets paid on commission.. so needs to make sales..

yes I have worked in car sales before .. I know how it all operates... they will have plenty of money in the car... its your job to squeeze it out of them..

J

PS... there was an offer on here where UKPolo Polo 1.8T GTIs were £150 to remap ;-)

Thanks for the reply :)

I've seen one in particular which i really like, so i think i'm going to pop down on Monday morning!

Is it true i might be able to get a better deal at the end of the month due to them wanting to meet targets? Also, yeah it'll be a VW dealership i buy from. Thanks for the tips too!

Is the offer still on for remaps?

Cheers!

Should be going to have a look at a GTI tomorrow in Leicester...but on the VW website, for this specific car, it says the interior is cloth and black/red?

I was under the impression there was only two interior types for the GTI, leather and the interlagos interior?

A quick reply would be great :D

I would imagine it was just hte checkered pattern you get with the standard cloth seats. As they are black (or dark grey) with red stitching.

Went to have a look at the GTI today, was really nice and pretty quick, not as quick as i was expecting though.

After 2 hours at the dealership getting the price down, he said he needed to ask his manager, who wasn't in at the time. So he said he'd give me a call by 5.30 today (he said he finishes then). Not received a phone call though :(.

Should i ring tomorrow morning or are the trying to see how desperate i am for the car lol?

Useds cars are scarce at the mo. All main dealers are crying out for4 stock as everyone is buying used. Cars have actully started to go up in vaslue for teh last 2 months! So dealers will be holding fast on there prices I can tell you that for sure. This is all good for us to as it will help with our resdiual values!!

I decided to drive down to VW in Milton Keynes today (160miles round trip)...And walked away with a deposit down on a 56 (2007) Silver GTI :D I'm so happy!

I'm sort of glad the one i went to look at yesterday sold, this one is 10 times better! Although slightly more expensive, but newer and lower miles! It's only got 15k on it. Managed to get £700 off and 6 months road tax, 12 month warranty too! It has parking sensors (lol) and the winter pack...apart from the headlight washers, what exactly does this consist of?

Really really happy with it :)!
