Dubsport are now offering 200bhp 20vT conversions for £6000.
This includes suppling engine and all nesessary parts/labour.
This is half as much as every where else is quoting.
They will also do a VR6 for the same price of a G60 for £6000.
a G40 is £1500 if you supply the engine.

sorry, the G40 is £1500.
Then G60 or VR6 are £6000. These prices are negioable if you can supply the donor car/engine

It can be done for £1500.00 if your prepared to get your hands dirty, and if your handy with a soldering iron.

So how much messing is it to get in Mk4 Polo, is there alot of fab work involved? Do any of the engine mounts line up?
Cheers.

The polo doesn't have a front subframe so that'll have to be fabricated. The other two mounts on the polo are below battery tray onto gearbox and top mount on D/S, the two options are to manufacture two mounts for these points or to weld on the 18T mounts to the rear subframe.
Theres also going to be modifications needed to the chassis leg to allow gearbox in. Then u have manifold to either fab or the bulkhead to modify. There is a lot of parts to change, like driveshafts and hydraulic clutch to name a few, wouldn't be a straight drop in job.

yeah, what he said....
just make sure you get a pre 2000 engine otherwise you'll never get the bastard to work (as I found out at my expense
)

Sounds a pain! 2 of my mates av em in Mk1 Golfs, think it must be more straight forward in them.
Will stay as it is unless I come across a G40, 16V is well expensive to tune.
