Coilovers??

Post by X_vix_X »

Hi everyone, i am new to the site and have owned a polo since last august. I am intrested in putting coilovers on my car.
my friend has some for sale but i'm not sure if they are any good i wasn't sure whether anyone could give me some advice?
anything would be appreciated.
They are called Ritter? i personally have never heard of them?

Vicki

Erm, can't say ive ever hurd of them. I'm running PhilJ coilovers from Club polo.

Depends weather you want performance of just to be on the floor. as i am. ha.

You can pick them up brand new for £215 delivered. and cheaper second hand. Loads around.

Not heard of Ritter myself, more info? For £200 your probably better off going onto ebay and searching for 6n hottuning coilovers, these will the same as most people are running and are known throughout the community - even got some on mine! Slammed on coilovers does look bloody sweet, but are there any speedbumps around your area? Sometimes got to take practicality into account too, otherwise you'll end up getting beached on every speed hump *cough*Rob*.

Oh, and pics in the mugshots section of club house :D

Aye aye, think we're onto a winner here lads! Got pics of your car? Subtle mods work well, bump strips, badges and new alloys along with suspension are sweet.
Don't forget the mugshots in club house section too, you know what there like around here

Lol we're just messing

I've googled Ritter Suspension/Coilovers and didn't find either, are you sure its Ritter? Three brands from the coilovers company over at hottuning are Raceland, TA-Technix or Jamex, they are very good value for money but don't expect smooth ride (but from what I hear thats not going to be a problem! :P )

They are alright though, pretty harsh but you get used to it and you wont get better for the money :)
