According to some of the guys over here, EBC greenstuff pads allegedly work quite well with OEM discs.
A 288mm upgrade would be nice, but then you'll need to change hubs, callipers and carriers...to much hassle. 256mm will be sufficient on a 1.2

Go for mintex discs and pads can't go wrong, plus up grade your flexipipes to braided and change the fluid to dot 5, this will make a big difference however as some have said already I would bit the bullet and up grade to gti spec as and when you can abit of work ie new hubs and removing the drive shafts to get the hub off but well worth it , I did it recently and the difference is big especially if you are used to the tea cup size discs.

£60 + postage
£75 including postage.. the postage will be loads seen as there heavy.
