its actually quite fun! i bought my bbs rims and they had no tyres, Just need to make sure that u get a VM8 torx bit.. I got mine from halfords.. Disassembelled the alloys and use nitromors for the lip, scrape it off and then u have to use wet and dry sand paper to bring out the smoothness. Then apply autosol, leave it for like 5 minutes and then take it off.
I used autosol and a buffer and i got a great finish.. The first time i did it i didnt laquer the lip and i started to get corrosion again and little black spots on the lip so i did it again and laquerd the lip and it looks much better now. As for the centres, i had them sandblasted and powder coated by a company called BJV Engineering. they are based i think in hertofrdshire. Did me a great deal.... he emailed me saying 140, but when i got there he saw i had the centres on there own so only charged me 80 quid for all 4 of them :D hope that helps
