exhaust for GTi

Post by gilmore »

can anyone recommend a stainless exhaust system for the GTi which isn't too loud... would like to get the power increase but without a loud exhaust tone - much more subtle sound would be great

cheers

Powerflow. They will make you a custom system and you can tailor the sound, they use smaller boxes and baffles to get a quieter sound. Having mine fitted in a couple of weeks!
Oh yeah, they have loads of tailpipes to choose from.

anyone know how easy it would be to fit twin tailpipes... one on each side of the car... golf R32 style?

You'll have to look at the floor pan at the rear of the car, could prove quite difficult, or you'll end up with the pipes hanging low!!!

its custom made, so dont worry about it. they work round the body to ensure a perfect fit. itll cost u more tho...but its worth the extra cash as it will look individual! 8)
