can you fit HID's to Angel eyes?

hi people i have been debaiting this for ages as i want to put HID's on my car but have angel eyes in there atm. i was wondering if i could have both the angel eyes and the HID's? but from what somebody has told me about not being able to put HID's in because the actual angel lights do not have that shell sort of thing which sits on top of the bulb so it doesnt blind people so u cant have them on so i have been unsure since somebody told me that. and also on the casing of the angel eyes it says HID Balb Not Allowed i dont know why but thats what it says. i also want the projection bulb to be brighter what bulbs would i need to make all the lights brighter and what size bulbs would i need? if anybody out there knows of how to do this can they please contact me asap thanks all

I'v got the FK Angel headlights with a set of 6000k HID's. They ain't as bright as the headlight ain't made from glass. Below is a pic of mine with 6000k



I don't understand what you mean by "shell sort of thing" that sit on top. If you mean the clip that holds the bulb in then yes there should be a clip as mine does.

Actually you cant fit HID'S to all Angel Headlights! The angel eyes i have, for example, you cant. Check with what your headlight's safety notes/instructions. I cant for mine as it will melt the plastic shell on the inside.

HIDs generate almost 4-5 times the heat due to light intensity, and will melt plastic surrounds on certain lamps!
