New wheels, ET ?

Post by vw-po-low »

Right im so bad with wheels. only had the classics a few months and have replaced them with a set of 7.5x13 and 8x13 banded steelies and have stretched 165/55/13 rubber over them. Few scrubing problems lol i've put the rear up 10mm as i was down 120mm. The front is no problem. I still have the classics too! =)

Originally the wheels where et 38 So the front have had 2 inches added and the rear 2 and a half inches. Anyone know the exact et? The reading i got was a tad mental.

Cheers Rob.

Any pics of them on Rob? Naturally they'll look awesome on your motor, as always!!!

Wouldn't the amount of poke you've added put them into a minus ET? (If so it would be around, front ET -30 & rear ET -45 ) Defo can't be! :?

Looks awesome mate!!! loving them.

If I'm right surely the offset stays the same mate? All that is done is width is extended from the lip. To alter the offset you'd have to change the centre point where the wheels meet the hub, but instead the lip is just extended if you get what I mean?
