air intake
air intake
I have a 1.4 75bhp polo. I want to keep stock airbox but want a direct cold air feed to it, has anyone done this ? Pics would be great
Re: air intake
doubt it will make that much difference , think vw have probably thought about the current air feed to make it as efficient as possible , maybe just get a aftermarket panel filter to replace the current paper one?
Re: air intake
any recommendations?

Re: air intake
so green cotton is better u think? will i notice any performance gains?
Re: air intake
not sure alot of the guys running the ibiza FRs and Cupras run them and they have the same engine as my gt so i went with them and didnt have any trouble with it on my arosa , so its not necceserily any better or worse just my preference, performance gains wise the gt is rated at 128bhp as standard and mine made 136.5bhp with a panel filter and cupra air intake , now if this is due to the mods or the car just came from the factory making more power than vw quote is anyones guess , id tend to think the later though.
